Bonnie Simonetta, LCSW, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Medical Social Service Consultation, Inc.   She's been a resident of Redding, Ca since 1977.  She came here to get out of the city to give her children a wonderful safe place to grow and flourish.  Bonnie is Northern California educated having graduated from Shasta College, CSU, Chico and CSU, Sacramento.  She has experience working at Mercy Medical Center, Shasta Regional Medical Center, Vibra, Shasta County Mental Health, Multiple Home Health agencies, Interim and Mercy Hospice and with multiple Skilled Nursing facilities.  Bonnie has worked with a full spectrum of ages, from Babies and their new Mommies all the way to elderly and end of life issues.  She is a positive individual with a glass half full attitude.  Her love for people keeps her going and working to touch as many lives as possible in a positive way.  Bonnie's demeanor is easygoing and relaxed.  People tend to be at ease around her.  She uses multiple standard modalities CBT, Gestalt, Mind-Body approaches, Sand Tray Therapy, EMDR.  Please come see Bonnie.  She’d love to help you gain insight and grow into that wonderful being you are meant to be.

Theodore A. "Ted" Lynch, MSW is our Corporate President.  He is a natural counselor and has over 15 years experience working with emotionally disturbed adolescents, substance abusers, Mental Health clients, probationers, elderly, chronically and critically ill individuals, grief and loss, Palliative Care as well as death and dying.  He has experience with all age groups in a full spectrum of human experience. Ted was born in Redding and has been locally educated.  He is a Shasta College graduate as well as a California State University, Chico Graduate with both his Bachelor's Degree in Social Work as well as his Graduate Degree, MSW in Social Work.  Ted has a quiet calming presence which has a positive effect on his clients.  He has a keen perception and is a creative problem solver.   Ted is our Corporate President and works primarily at Mercy Medical Center.

The first person you will see in our office is our foundation and backbone. She can do anything.  She manages our office like the professional that she is.  She assisted with demolition and laid the floors in our new office! She was born and raised in this beautiful Northern California area.  She comes to us from multiple Medical settings and is well versed in the regulatory processes we need to follow.  She not only does our billing, scheduling, maintenance of compliance and organizes our therapists and our office, but she is also going to school.  She most likely will be one of our therapists in the not too distant future. Jennifer Goehring, MA, AMFT, PCCI
Jennifer grew up in the Redding area.  She has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from CSU Chico and a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from National University.  Jennifer is a Registered Associate in both Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counselor.  She has experience working with mood disorders, personality disorders, suicidality and self harm, substance abuse, grief and loss, anxiety and trauma.  Jennifer's style is collaborative, accepting, compassionate, encouraging and holistic. Jennifer believes in an integrative approach, using techniques from various therapeutic models including Cognitive-behavioral, Client Centered and Solution-focused therapies.  She strives to identify her client's strengths while providing a non-judgmental, safe environment to normalize and validate the issues they are experiencing.  Her focus is helping the client gain a deeper understanding of their struggles and how they can make positive changes, empowering them to find hope and improve their quality of life.  Jennifer assists clients in developing and utilizing positive coping strategies to promote balance and decrease stress as future challenges arise.

The second individual you will meet in our office is Madison who was born and raised in Shasta County.  She graduated from Lynch Academy of Canine Technology in 2010.  Her presence is soothing to all and her joy of meeting  and greeting people is mood altering.  She loves to dance in her Yin and Yang fashion while greeting clients.  She also loves Doggie Biscuits and naps.  Come see Maddie if you need a smile.
Connie has been a Shasta County resident since 1992.  She Graduated from Simpson University with a BA in Psychology in 2010.  She went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Psychology in 2012.  Connie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She's been practicing since 2012 and has a wealth of experience before and after her University Graduation.   She has worked with children and families extensively.  She enjoys working with couples and adults as well.  Her favorite population is the adolescents.  Not surprisingly, she comes to us with experience from Victor Youth Services.  She loves the challenge!   Connie employs multiple modalities when working with her clients, ie  CBT, EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems Therapy and her favorite, the Satir Transformational System of Therapy.  Connie is truly a "People Maker" in her own right.  She is honest and direct with her communication and easily builds rapport with her clients.  Come see Connie for a life changing experience.

Cola is the baby of the group.  He is under the expert tuteladge of Madison Lynch, Master Greeter.  He is a recent graduate of the the Simonetta Academy of Canine Technology.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2017.  He is specialising in Hug Therapy and working toward becoming a Master Greeter.  He truely loves all he greets and shows it in his happy dance.  He loves to run and play with squeek-toys.  Come see Cola if you need a doggie hug!

a degree in Social Science. She has a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, from California State University, Chico. She is a
Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker. She believes in treating the whole person, though the use of Evidence-based, Client-centered
approaches, focused on utilizing her client’s strengths. Sabrina knows the client is the expert of their own life, and she works to empower each one ofher clients, by providing a safe environment where clients feel heard, understood and appreciated. David is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  He earned his Masters in Social Work from California State University, Chico in 2012.  David's undergraduate degrees are in Anthropology and Foreign Language (Spanish).  He is fluent in Spanish and has worked as an Interpreter.   David has worked primarily in Glenn and Tehama counties for numerous agencies.  As a result he has experience with Mental Health Crisis, Case Management, Child Welfare, Emotionally Disturbed Adolescents, In-Patient Psychiatric Care, Head Start Family Advocate.  As you can see David has experience with all ages and varied issues.  He is an easy going, soft spoken man who is flexible and open.   He loves animals and the Great Outdoors.  David is fascinated with human behavior and wants to help.  Call now and make an appointment with David, Spanish or English!
